تُعد طيور الليل للكاتب الروسي الكبير نيقولاي ليسكوف واحدة من أبرز الروايات القصيرة في الأدب الروسي في القرن التاسع عشر. تدور أحداثها في منزل غامض يُعرف باسم أجيداتسيا، حيث يصل الراوي باحثاً عن الراحة الروحية، ليجد نفسه وسط مجموعة من الأشخاص الذين جاؤوا إلى المكان وهم ينتظرون المعجزات أو الخلاص أو تحقيق مصالح خفية.
