The exegetical works of Eckart Reinmuth, 1995-2016 Professor for New Testament at the University of Rostock, cover a wide range of topics. One of their main focusses is on the conversation with philosophy and the cultural sciences. Eckart Reinmuth sees as one of the most important tasks of theology to participate actively in the contemporary cultural and religious disclosure of the world. Therefore, his exegetical approach concentrates in a great measure on the political dimension of biblical texts, which has led to various interdisciplinary projects.
