Murder follows murder in Mrs. Meyer's light housekeeping apartments. Eighteen-year-old Jane Robbins tells the story, aided by comments from Inspector Burke, who developed a fondness for Jane's coffee and a habit of using her as a ready listener-or is he just keeping an eye on a suspect?
