It was Commissioned by Oliver Zeffman as one of Eight Songs from Isolation for a premiere recording with Iestyn Davies and the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, conducted by Oliver Zeffman with generous support from the Polonsky Foundation, George Camdonius, The Marchus Trust and Julian Schild.
