This book tells the story of the long and faithful relationship that existed between the American trumpeter Miles Davis and the French photographer Jean-Pierre Leloir. For the first time, here is offered to the public a complete monograph of more than 200 photographs, a large part of which is unpublished, presenting the musician during his stays in France. Miles, the artist and man of a thousand facets, is discovered through the friendly eyes of Jean, a photographer who was a music-loving enthusiast who spent his time between his Paris studio, concert halls, and festivals.
