Metaphysical Alternatives Vs. Alternative Semantics

The nineteenth volume of the Proceedings of the Society for Medieval Logic and Metaphysics honors the work of our president and founder, Gyula Klima. This volume of proceedings considers a host of issues relevant to key aspects of Klima’s work, from metaphysics to logic and epistemology. Contributions include a new formalization that captures Ockham’s semantics as a mathematical presheaf, a response by the well-known Ockhamist Claude Panaccio to objections raised by Klima to his work on intentionality, a subtle and careful consideration of how genus and species are for Aquinas real accidents of being (Gregory Doolan), and a close look at Aristotle on demonstration by Lucas Angioni.
