Merry Christmas, Liebchen: A Whittaker Springs Novella
Synopsis
"Merry Christmas, Liebchen" is a contemporary holiday romance novella set in Vermont.
It's nearly Christmas in Whittaker Springs, Vermont, but the Christmas spirit is lacking in some folks. Jolene Beath has only one option for scraping together enough money to pay her beloved Aunt Ruby's medical bills and to stave off foreclosure on their home. She must sell Aunt Ruby's precious vintage Merc.
Karl Steckle, visiting from Germany, is more than willing to pay whatever she asks for the car, especially if he can persuade Jolene to be part of the deal.
But Karl has a secret and a past that can spell despair for Jolene.
Is loving him and losing him the risk she must take to keep her aunt safe, even at the cost of her own heartbreak?
