Synopsis

SYNOPSIS.

As soon as the Second World War began, Spain - despite its theoretical neutrality - became a battlefield. A field in which the soldiers belonged to the secret services of all the countries involved, both Allied and Nazi. And they all roamed freely.

But such a war fosters all kinds of needs, mainly material resources. In this sense, Hitler's Germany, which had given so much support to Franco's forces in our civil war, came to present its invoice for those favors.

Spain could supply Germany with something better than soldiers and weapons. A strategic material of extraordinary importance, which could destabilise the balance of both sides and, therefore, the outcome of the war.

While Hitler intended to involve Franco directly in the world war, the Allies, mainly the British, showered the accounts of some people, including generals, with direct access to Franco with pounds sterling to dissuade him from being part of that entente.

As in all wars, there are casualties and some affect in a very direct way, so much so that on this occasion he harbored an inalienable desire for revenge. Revenge was the leitmotif that kept him alive for forty years. And at last he succeeded.

It all begins with the discovery of an old man murdered in his home and some memories kept in his safe. This fact triggers a routine process on the part of the police, which will soon be altered in a definitive way and will force them to take a drastically different approach.

It is thanks to a daring journalist who, with her determination and determination, unravels a skein of bloody disputes that took place decades ago, between Spaniards who fought on opposite sides in the Second World War, in Galicia.

As the investigation progresses, stories come to light that time, and some dark forces, were responsible for hiding.
