The yearbook of Klosterneuburg Abbey is a historical and cultural-scientific periodical. Since 1908, articles on the historical sources of the Augustinian Canons and findings from research projects in various disciplines, primarily in the humanities, have been published. The thematic volume "Mediums of Holiness" collects contributions that were made in the context of the project "The Performance of Holiness Using the Example of Margrave Leopold III. of Austria were created. As contributors, young scientists of the project, which is carried out as a doc team at the Austrian Academy of Sciences, and established researchers relate to each other. The focus is on the phenomenon of "holiness" and the implementation of corresponding narratives and stagings in different media contexts and different materials. The second section of the volume is dedicated to new finds in sources and smaller reports from the historical collections of Klosterneuburg Abbey. Section 3 provides insights into current research projects that work on the holdings using a wide variety of methods and thus tie in with the cultural heritage of the monastery.
