Me, My Child, and God: True Parenthood Stories - A Story-Based Devotional
Synopsis
Me, My Child, and God combines the elements of a devotional, a self-help book, and a feel-good story - all into one book; a book about my daughter and I, and how God has used my role as a parent of hers to mold me into a better child of His. Before becoming a father, I could say that I understood God's rules more than I understood God himself. They say experience is the best teacher, and once I became a parent God began to consistently turn random experiences that I would encounter with my daughter into teachable moments for myself. God used those experiences to teach me about things such as faith, fear; worry, and patience; along with other spiritually relevant things that have all given me a better understanding of who God is, what God wants, and why God wants it. The stories that I share in this book and the lessons I have learned from them are not applicable to just myself, or to parents only, they are stories and lessons that anyone can learn from and apply to their own life. Because of that, I have decided to share these stories with you with the hope that you too will gain a better understanding of God, as well as a healthier relationship with God, as a result.
