Maritime Archaeology: Perspectives from Historical Archaeology and ACUA Proceedings

This is the first effort to compile a Perspectives volume that represents published articles from both the SHA journal, Historical Archaeology and the ACUA Under- water Archaeology Proceedings. This volume represents a comprehensive look at the field of underwater archaeology from the society's earliest conferences to present. Because this volume is compiled from a compilation of sources produced over the years, there are a range of publication styles, printers, and layouts resulting in a number of inconsistencies that can not be helped even in today's technologically advanced world of printing. Many of the articles only exist as print copies and today are very difficult to find. Thus, a number of the articles are facsimiles of the original paper publications.
