Making European Policies Work: Volume 1: Comparative Syntheses

This two-volume work describes and analyses the implemention of European Community policies, looking at 17 directives with implementation deadlines in 1980 and covering the majority of European sectoral policies. Volume One provides major analyses and conclusions drawn from material gathered over two years by ten national research teams. It also presents the major discussions and conclusions of the fourth Erenstein Colloquium which brought together professional administrators and experts from twelve Member States and the Community′s own institutions to debate the implementation of European Community policies.
