Madder

David Constantine's second book of poems, Watching for Dolphins, won him the 1984 Alice Hunt Bartlett Prize, and with it the judges' praise for 'a generous, self-aware sensuality which he can express in a dazzling variety of tones'. Madder, his third collection, is a Poetry Book Society Recommendation. This edition is now out of print but the entire collection is reprinted in his Collected Poems (2004).
