Married to a handsome congressman Will, with a successful career as an investigative reporter turned talk-show host, Angela Rivers has everything under control. Then a tape surfaces of Will having sex with an underage girl and he is imprisoned and Angela is left jobless, broke, with her marriage over. She flees to California with her friend Regina, and gets her career back on track. She cares little for romance until she meets Jesse. Whilst there are hurdles, love blossoms.
