Lime and Punishment

When Nora is tasked with judging a pie-baking contest, one of the contestants is left pucker-faced when she dies under mysterious circumstances.

My name is Nora Black, and at fifty-seven, I've learned that life-like key lime pie-is equal parts sweet and tart. Business is booming, my best friends are living their best lives, and I am in a great place in my own relationship. In other words, I've never been happier.

Things are finally settling down after that whole murder-on-the-high-seas business, and I haven't been asked to help on a single police investigation for over a year...that is, until I agree to judge the brand-new annual Key Lime Pie Baking Contest. Big mistake. Huge. When a contestant ends up more than just pucker-faced by keeling over after the contest ends, my no-murder streak curdles fast. Is it an accident? A prank gone horribly wrong? Or did someone stir up a recipe for fresh-squeezed murder? My psychic nose is whipping up memories that are equal parts sweet, sour, and deadly, and I'll have to sniff out a killer before someone else gets served up cold.
