Les Lumieres Dans Les Caraibes Francaises

In this volume, the Enlightenment is understood as a multifocal, transatlantic movement between European and American countries. During this large process of circulation - not only of persons (active and victim ones as well), but also of concepts and dreams -, Enlightenment ideas were transmitted and retransmitted, developed, concretized, corrected through dialectic, and operationalized through politics.
