La Ciudad Enfurecida / The City Enraged

Amor y guerra en una ciudad desgarrada por las luchas de poder y la intolerancia. La guerra de la Navarrerìa: un episodio desconocido de nuestra historia medieval. Pamplona, 1274. A la muerte de Enrique I de Navarra, la tensión entre partidarios de una alianza con Castilla y quienes proponen una boda entre la heredera del trono y el hijo del infante Pedro de Aragón provoca un grave enfrentamiento que se agrava cuando la reina regente huye con su hija a Francia. El conflicto crispa aún más la convivencia entre los habitantes de San Cernìn, San Nicolás y Navarrerìa, los tres burgos tradicionalmente enfrentados que forman la ciudad. Íñigo, carpintero de la Navarrerìa, vive ajeno a todo eso. Él solo piensa en Anaïs, una joven francesa que vio un dìa en el mercado. Pero los ánimos están muy exaltados y los vecinos de la Navarrerìa sacan a la calle sus máquinas de guerra. Cuando estalle la guerra todos perderán.

Pamplona, 1274. On the death of Enrique I of Navarra, the tension between supporters of an alliance with Castile and those who propose a wedding between the heir to the throne and the son of Prince Pedro de Aragón causes a serious confrontation that worsens when the reigning queen flees with her daughter to France. The conflict further strains the coexistence between the inhabitants of San Cernìn, San Nicolás and Navarrerìa, the three traditionally opposing boroughs that make up the city. Íñigo, a carpenter from Navarrerìa, lives oblivious to all that. He only thinks of Anaïs, a young French woman he saw one day at the market. But spirits are enraged, and the residents of Navarrerìa bring their war machines out onto the streets. When war breaks out, everyone will lose.
