Cami Avesque, a shy, aspiring journalist, is stuck editing classifieds at Ohio's largest newspaper. Her big break arrives when she's unexpectedly thrust into the world of The Slam, Colt, Ohio's fiercely competitive rugby team. This is her chance to cover their run for the Rugby League Championship, but Cami's history with jocks leaves her wary of close encounters-especially of the romantic kind. She hides her sensuality behind oversized clothes and large glasses, a disguise that barely conceals the heat she ignites in the presence of sculpted athletes. To survive this assignment, she must cling to her shyness, unless the team's irresistible "man muscle" awakens a side of her she tries to hide.
