Synopsis

During the summer of 1787, Louis-Philippe, future king of France, kept the diary of the journey that brought him and his family to the thermal city of Spa. His manuscript is compared with the unpublished account of the same journey given by the under-governor Charles Gardeur-Lebrun in his Diary of the upbringing of the princes of Orleans.
