A family wake up early one morning and set off on a journey that involves travelling on a donkey cart, in a taxi and on a train as they make their way to Johannesburg to see their Baba. Time and distance are the main Mathematics links in this story. As many forms of transport are used the concepts of slow and fast are brought in and the use of clocks on each page demonstrates this.
