God is our Father, Big Brother, and Bridegroom. yet often our hearts fall short of allowing Him to fulfill these roles. Worldly thinking has perverted the holy idea of intimacy and created a stumbling block to true, deep intimacy with Jesus. Through my healing journey, I experienced the Lord in vivid ways that lifted me from worldly oppression and expectation into the freedom Jesus paid for us to live out on this earth. Personal encounters with Jesus allow Him to display His true character and reveal the value He places on us as llis bride. As a result, we become intimately acquainted with the One whose heart longs for intimacy with us. The living scriptures make way for these encounters.
