When several farmers in the small community of Bladenboro, North Carolina find their dogs mutilated, the Sheriff is tasked with investigating the gruesome killings. When the investigation uncovers the dogs were drained of blood, the discovery gains national attention, prompting the media to call the mysterious creature responsible "Vampire Beast." While conducting a nocturnal hunt for the creature, the Sheriff and his Deputies come face-to-face with the monstrous, yellow-eyed cat-like beast, proving to the unsuspecting officers that some home-grown horrors aren't just merely legends.
