Henry James & Lamb House, East Sussex

The house dates from the early 18th century and is typical of the attractive town of Rye. This was the home of writer Henry James from 1898 to 1916, and later of authors E F Benson and Rumer Godden. Some of James's personal possessions can be seen and there is a charming walled garden.
