Helvetia Sacra / Die Antoniter, Die Chorherren Vom Heiligen Grab in Jerusalem Und Die Hospitaliter Vom Heiligen Geist in Der Schweiz

Compiled by Anne-Marie Courtieu-Capt et al. Edited by Elsanne Gilomen-Schenkel. The three hospital orders are treated separately. Represented are the Order of St. Anthony with five houses, the Canons of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem with one branch, and the Hospitallers of the Holy Spirit with two houses in Switzerland. In addition to their affiliation to the Rule and the order's purpose of hospital work, they share a common origin in the 12th century and a dissolution in the 18th or 19th century.
