Synopsis
The Hamilton Kerr Institute (HKI) is the paintings conservation department of the Fitzwilliam Museum and part of the department of History of Art at the University of Cambridge. Our students train in Easel Paintings Conservation, and we also host recent graduates of conservation programmes from around the world who undertake a one- or two-year internship. The HKI staff, students and interns also pursue research in collaboration with external colleagues. The contents of the Bulletin, therefore, represent a broad range of research interests and activities.
