Going Under

Having escaped the grasp of the world of demons, Lila Black is looking forward to some well-earned rest but no good deeds go unpunished. The sleight of hand operating so many of the dark machineries of her world has turned out not human, demon or elven, but fey, and the faeries are upping their game. Meanwhile Lila has come to terms with the fate of her parents and built bridges with her sister, but she is at war with herself and at odds with her boss and her boyfriends - and that's dangerous when you contain enough high-tech weaponry to win a small war. This story is fast moving SF/fantasy, high on adventure and sparring with the serious themes of identity, reality and sexual politics.
