God, Life, Intelligence and the Universe

The task given to the authors of these essays-three scholars from three different continents-was to examine the phenomenon of intelligence. We understand both human and animal intelligence. Extraterrestrial intelligence and artificial intelligence are now serious topics for debate and discussion. The possibilities of extraterrestrial intelligence and yet-to-be-developed forms of artificial intelligence pose questions about how intelligent animals are and what the implications are for our concept of God and the salvific work of Christ.
