The contributions of these Soncino conference proceedings on Giovanni Bernardo De Rossi (1742-1831), Piedmontese priest and professor at the University of Parma, present his rich production as Hebraist, Semitist, philologist, bibliographer, Bodoni's collaborator, and creator of a truly important collection of (not only) Hebrew manuscripts and ancient editions now at the Biblioteca Palatina of Parma. The appendix is an updated map of De Rossi's correspondence also held at the Palatina.
