English summary: Axel von Campenhausen, director of the Institute for Church Law of the Protestant church in Germany from 1969 to 2008, provided a large number of contributions on questions of church law and the law regulating the relationship between church and state, their historical origins and other contemporary challenges. On the occasion of his 80th birthday this volume publishes selected papers that date from the last 20 years of his work. It thus complements the volume of Collected Writings I (Jus ecclesiasticum, Vol 50) published in 1995. Apart from basic matters it especially covers legal contracts regulating the relationship between church and state, theological faculties, the integration of Muslims, the Protestant bishops, foundation law and church membership law.

Kirche in Deutschland, eine Fulle von Beitragen geliefert. Anlasslich seines 80. Geburtstages vereinigt dieser Band eine Auswahl aus den letzten 20 Jahren seines Schaffens. Er schliesst damit an den Band der Gesammelte Schriften I (Jus Ecclesiasticum, Bd. 50) von 1995 an. Neben den Grundsatzfragen kommen insbesondere Staatskirchenvertrage, Theologische Fakultaten, die Integration der Muslime, das evangelische Bischofsamt, das Stiftungs- und das Kirchenmitgliedschaftsrecht zur Sprache.
