Gay Rights, Trans Rights: A Psychiatrist/lawyer's 50-Year Battle

Join me in my 50-year GAY RIGHTS and TRANS RIGHTS battle. From my referring transsexual patients for surgery in 1966 and campaigning to remove homosexuality from the list of psychiatric illnesses in 1972, these were early days of our revolution. I advocated same-sex marriage on television in 1974, testified in courts as a psychiatrist for gay and transgender parents from 1974, assisted in the legal fight for a gay in the military in 1987 and, as attorney, represented a gay boy scout in 1987. These are some of this psychiatrist/lawyer's skirmishes leading to our brave new world of sex and gender.
