Five Hats That Fit

Beginning with eight-year-old Joey playing in his first Little League baseball game in Orlando, Florida in 1956, you will be further introduced to five noble men who helped significantly in his life journey into the 21st century. Each man entered wearing a hat suited to the context of his need - a coach, a sage, an advocate, a mentor and a father. The venue of the first chapter is a neighborhood baseball field in Orlando, Florida and the second locale is a challenging golf course in Northeast Florida. Chapter 3 takes place in a Nevada desert region and the fourth centers on a popular diner in New Hampshire. In the final chapter Joey is whimsically reminiscing with his remarkable father about the many times that hats helped as they recall in rapid fire discussion 100 significant moments together.
