English summary: This volume presents contributions to the German-Russian conference on Finanzmarktregulierung zwischen Innovation und Kontinuitat in Deutschland, Europa und Russland (financial market regulation between innovation and continuity in Germany, Europe and Russia) held at the Free University of Berlin in April 2012. German and Russian contributions from the perspectives of both academia and legal practice address current issues regarding the regulation of banking and the financial markets, such as the restructuring of credit institutions, the practical formulation of the ban on insider trading and market manipulation, aspects of international law pertaining to the regulation of banks and financial services and criminal law in the financial sector. One lengthy paper deals with the treatment of third parties in the context of European banking and financial services law.

German description: Der Band dokumentiert die Beitrage im Rahmen der deutsch-russischen Tagung zum Thema "Finanzmarktregulierung zwischen Innovation und Kontinuitat in Deutschland, Europa und Russland", die im April 2012 an der Freien Universitat Berlin stattgefunden hat. Deutsche und russische Beitrage aus Wissenschaft und Praxis befassen sich mit aktuellen Themen der Banken- und Finanzmarktregulierung wie der Restrukturierung von Kreditinstituten, der Ausgestaltung des Verbots von Insiderhandel und Marktmanipulation, volkerrechtlichen Aspekten der Regulierung von Banken und Finanzdienstleistungen und dem Finanzstrafrecht. Ein grosserer Einzelbeitrag ist der Behandlung von Drittstaaten im Europaischen Bank- und Finanzdienstleistungsrecht gewidmet.
