Exam Technique Handbook for Secondary School Mathematics Exams

This book aims to bridge the gap between examiner expectations, and candidate awareness of what is expected of them in an examination. The book is a valuable resource to candidates who are preparing to sit mathematics examinations at any level of secondary education either in the UK or internationally. It is not designed to be a treatise of mathematical content, but rather a summary of pertinent points that consistently cause students to lose marks unnecessarily in each exam season. The aim of this book is to make candidates more aware of the things they can do to minimise the chances of marks being withheld due to ambiguous work or poor exam technique. This is more prevalent now in view of the many candidates who are home schooled.
