Dragons of Rocky Pass

Shawn Crowley and his new bride join with others on a cattle drive. Shawn is hoping for a bit of a normal life. But that is shattered in the night as rustlers attack the herd. Shawn soon learns the rustling was a cover for the real target. Nearby is a Ute burial ground. The thieves steal the weapons buried with the honored dead.
But among the things stolen is a dragon egg. The parents know of Shawn and his reputation.
They give him the chance to return the egg. And if he fails then they will find it. And turn the entire nation into a sea of fire and blood.
