Distance

"Distance" is a conceptual comic by Raúl Silva, produced in collaboration with Paula Eslava. The work features panels appropriated from various manga and comic sources, overlaid with original dialogue that explores abstract concepts like the dichotomy between the geometric and oceanic, rationality versus impulse, authorship, and the relationship between the spiritual and physical realms. Through this juxtaposition of borrowed visuals and new text, the artists create a contemplative meditation on human experience, creative expression, and philosophical dualities.
