Der Erste Weltkrieg in Der Deutschen Und Britischen Erinnerungskultur / The First World War in British and German Commemorative Culture

In the commemorative year of 2014, the annual conference of the Prince Albert Society and the Landesbibliothek Coburg from September 4 to 6 was dedicated to the perception of the First World War in Britain and Germany in comparison. The conference proceedings focus on three key aspects: general questions of the war remembrance in both countries, the visualisation and symbolic contextualisation of wartime experiences, and memory cultures in politics and society.
