Synopsis
This work presents a critical analysis of Agatha Christie's detective Hercule Poirot and key aspects of the novelist's life and literary career. To this end, several books, articles, and detective novels were carefully selected and studied.
While advancing on the investigation, we realized that three important novels were the key and that without them the study could not be completed. They were The Mysterious Affair at Styles, the first novel written by Agatha Christie in which Hercule Poirot appears for the first time, The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, the novel that made Agatha Christie famous, and Curtain, in which Hercule Poirot solves his last case and dies.
