Composition for the Left Hand: With Works from the Erling Kagge Collection

The juxtaposition of contemporary art from the Erling Kagge Collection and works from Kode's historical collection creates a dynamic, artistic dialogue across centuries and styles - Anne Imhof and Francisco Goya, Trisha Donnelly and Peder Balke, Tauba Auerbach and Synn¢ve Anker Aurdal, among others. By generating these visual dialogues, the catalogue addresses how "nature" has traversed from the 19th-century ideal of landscape to a wider category of ecology as a reflection on the state of human society.
