Clean Socks and a Dollar in My Pocket
Synopsis
Nana knows that life has a way of moving faster than we expect. With only a short weekend together, she sets out to pass along the lessons she believes Jesse will need for the road ahead.
From the importance of being prepared to carrying yourself with dignity, Nana shares wisdom the way only a grandmother can; through stories, small moments, and everyday routines. Jesse listens closely, determined to follow every word.
But trying to live up to all of Nana's lessons at once proves harder than he imagined.
As Jesse struggles to keep up, he soon finds himself overwhelmed, tangled in good intentions, and making a mess of things along the way. In the middle of it all, Nana realizes something just as important as the lessons she's trying to teach.
Sometimes the greatest gift a child can have is simply the freedom to be a child.
Warm, humorous, and heartfelt, Clean Socks and a Dollar in My Pocket is a story about growing up, slowing down, and the quiet wisdom shared between generations.
