Davin Havermak falls to the besieged city of Moorenark like a soul cast from the heavens. Fire and ash spiral around his parachute. Warships dominate and clash in the sky above. Fear and gunfire rule the streets below. Dav is an Airborne Angel, an elite search-and-rescue soldier, trained to pull the lost from impossible places. His mission is to find a missing business magnate who could change the course of the war.
