Forced to battle the evil that thwarts his destiny, Brak must face sword, sorcery, and plague as he journeys south to Khurdisan. On the dangerous road to that fabled city, he will traverse mysterious lands steeped in dark magic, face fearsome foes of worldly and otherworldly origin, and contemplate the final words of Septegundus, who swore that he would meet Brak in Khurdisan one final time and drag the barbarian's soul to hell.
