Foraminifera are beautiful tiny sea creatures that live in our oceans and they're so small that you need a microscope to see them. So, foraminifera might be tiny, but they play a very big role in our oceans. With their help scientists can reconstruct the past climate of our earth.

The two characters Nina Floaty & Berry Ground, which are based one two foraminifera species living in the Arctic Ocean, tell deep sea stories to children to get a deeper knowledge of our oceans and make us think about why understanding foraminifera might be important for more symbiotic ways of living together in this changing world.
