Now, back in his Louisiana hometown, he's assigned to protect Aurelie Anderson, the daughter of a state senator.

Aurelie runs her father's philanthropic efforts to save the bayou, but with her father up for re-election against a candidate backed by the Cajun mafia, she's treading a dangerous path. Determined to expose environmental violations that threaten the bayou, she becomes a target. After multiple attempts on her life, her father hires the Brotherhood to keep her safe.

Beau is tasked with defending Aurelie, but the more time he spends with her, the harder it is to keep his heart from falling for the beautiful activist determined to make a difference.
