Apokalyptik

Apocalypticism is a phenomenon of crisis. While in colloquial speech an apocalypse denotes chaos and catastrophe, in religious sources, especially from antiquity and the Middle Ages, the apocalyptic rhetoric intends to overcome catastrophes. This volume contributes to the religious, cultural, and political dimensions of apocalypticism.
