Synopsis

Anwar's Story is a fictional fable Karen Williams originally channeled back in 2019 which describes the imagined life and trials of the 'other hero' in Paulo Coelho's famous, iconic fable The Alchemist.

Paulo based his allegory on an ancient tale from The Arabian Nights, without ever realizing that the original story contained a hidden archetype - the spiritual archetype of Mankind's search for redemption. This was what Karen discovered on a twenty five year spiritual odyssey in search of her soul, and also in search of the true meaning of The Alchemist.

And so, because of this, Karen is now able to give every reader of Paulo's fable this truth, which is that The Alchemist is not the story of just one hero, but two. Santiago was only able to find his treasure in Paulo's fable by encountering that 'other hero' - Anwar - in the outside world.

This means that in many ways Anwar's Story can be considered the missing half of The Alchemist; a piece which will finally make Paulo's magical allegory complete. It will also provide answers to many questions which for some readers have, up until now, seemed unanswerable.
