This collective work explores the literary, rhetorical, and philosophical dimensions of Ambroise Pare's OEuvres completes, as well as the posterity of a text written in vernacular language. In so doing, it highlights the richness of an oeuvre representative of science writing in the second half of the sixteenth century.
