Volume 1 of Am Yisrael Chai was published on October 16, 2023; Volume 2 on December 11, 2023. Today, as fifty beloved souls remain in captivity and too many chairs remain empty, we gather these voices again not to reopen wounds, but to insist that Jewish memory be a launchpad for rebuilding. In the immediate aftermath of catastrophe, thoughtful or careful words were hardly expected. And yet these pages contain soulful, eloquent expressions of pain-and of global Jewish solidarity.
