In his dystopian graphic novel, Argentinian artist Adrián Villar Rojas (born 1980) weaves together his own essay on the apocalypse with a 19th-century futurist novel and scenes from the 1928 Disney film Steamboat Willie, thus demonstrating how new narratives can be worked out of preexisting material.
