Abel Rodrìguez (1941-2025), a member of the Nonuya and Muinane communities, was born in the Colombian Amazon. Entrusted as a sabedor, a keeper of botanical knowledge, Rodrìguez maintained a drawing practice around native plants beginning in the 1990s.
