A Way With Words

Poetry from deep Beneath The Tracksuit. People say I have a way with words. We all have a way with words. This is just mine. My way with words is how I deal with life.
Whether that's Multiple Sclerosis, mental health or just the everyday madness that doesn't make sense half the time. I have MS and I battle with depression and some days are heavy but that's not all there is. There's the daft thoughts. The 3am nonsense.
The sarcastic comments that probably shouldn't be said but get said anyway. The real side. Thus book is who I am not separating any of it.
It's not all deep. It's not all light.
It's life as it actually is, a mix of both, sometimes in the same breath. Some of this will make you laugh.
Some of it might hit closer to home than you expect. Most of it sits somewhere in between because that's how I live it. This is just my way of putting it into words.
